In the year 2017, Ankit and Nisha found themselves in the same city, Birmingham, AL.

It all started when Ankit's company, Sociallyin, hosted a networking event with a quirky title - "How Social Media is like Sour Patch Kids." Nisha, a young ingenue, decided to attend.

Ankit, stood confidently on stage in a sharp blazer, oozing charm and ambition. Nisha couldn't help but be captivated by his charisma. As fate would have it, she won the event's raffle - a colossal 1 lb bag of Sour Patch Kids! If you know you know, satisfying her sweet tooth is the quickest way to Nisha’s heart.

She struck up a conversation after the event handing over her Instagram handle. Then, she returned home and excitedly told her roommate about the cute guy she'd met, who happened to "own his own marketing company."

Ankit, that same day, declared to his friends, "I'm gonna marry that girl."

For the next six months, not a word was exchanged, but fate had other plans. Nisha joined Ankit at Sociallyin. And over the years, Ankit and Nisha's friendship blossomed. Nisha was drawn to Ankit's wit, ambition, and wild ideas, while Ankit saw in Nisha a radiant light, a creative spirit, and a fire that left him captivated.

One day, Ankit decided to organize a team retreat, and true to his adventurous spirit - no trust falls, just one giant LEAP out of an airplane ! That's right, they went skydiving. Even though Nisha typically stuck to her comfort zone, she mustered the courage to dive headfirst into the adventure. Adrenaline pumping through their veins, that evening’s conversations revealed feelings that had been hiding in plain sight. And from that moment on, their love story truly began to take flight. A few months later, they committed to each other.
